Carriage House
The Carriage House is located in the center of a block, across Union
Street from the Library Company. It was owned by the Woolman family,
Quakers prominent in West Jersey commerce.
The two-story brick structure has been restored, and includes space for
horses and coaches, rooms for coachmen, and a hayloft. It is maintained
by the City of Burlington Historical Society,
and was the Society's meetingplace for many years.
